Ed Davidson

Originally from Michigan, Ed Davidson came to New Mexico in 1991 with the United States Air Force, and was stationed at Holloman AFB with the 49th Security Police Squadron.  He retired in 1996, obtained his CDL, and drove over-the-road before joining Mesa Verde in 2001.  Ed was hired as a truck driver and was soon promoted to Scale Operator and then Warehouse Supervisor, where he developed a tracking system to control acquisition and disbursement of supplies.  In 2003 Ed was promoted to the position of Safety, Compliance and DOT Administration.  Ed established a program ensuring DOT, MSHA and OSHA compliance for both the construction sites and vehicle fleet.  He was also instrumental in developing Mesa Verde’s Safety Incentive Program, and has improved our safety record significantly during his tenure.

Ed also serves as Mesa Verde’s network administrator, and has a Bachelor of Science in Data Processing from Northern Michigan University.  He is a Certified Landfill Operator, Weigh Master, Truck Driver Trainer and Computer Programmer.  Ed enjoys spending time with his eleven grandchildren, and is an avid gardener.
